About the Business
An opportunity to be an Management Accountant for a logistics business near Coventry! This role has a huge amount of progression opportunities as the business is looking to develop this new hire long term. The business is very stable and has a growing team who really do stick together!
Main Duties:
As a Management Accountant, your main duties include:
- Be a finance lead on the Microsoft ERP team
- Prepare monthly operational estimates and reconcile balance sheets (prepayments, provisions, and accruals)
- Review monthly P&L for operations
- Prepare and distribute accurate management accounts
- Conduct monthly and yearly environmental reporting
- Assist with annual budgeting templates
- Monitor and manage cash position, perform monthly reconciliations and reports, authorise bank payments, handle ad-hoc payments, and oversee shared Excel sheets for transactions
- Handle month-end closure for sales, debtors, stock, and general ledgers
- Prepare and post journal entries

Located in the outskirts of Coventry, near the Coventry Airport, the office is a modern, attractive environment and holds a fantastic team that's growing and led by an extremely passionate manager.
A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to system installation during the first 12 months. You will gain fantastic project management experience. You will then be moved into more of a commercial role.

What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous Management Accounts experience
- Someone who's keen to start on projects
- Skilled user of Microsoft packages, encompassing Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to building teamwork
