Assistant Finance Manager

Well established retail/wholesale business based in the Stockport area requires an Assistant Finance Manager for their growing team.

Reporting to the Head of Finance my client is as privately owned business that has gone from strength to strength over the last 5-6 years and continues to do so.

Duties of the role will include;

  • Preparation of monthly Management Accounts for 3 separate businesses
  • Intercompany reconciliation
  • Handling VAT for 3 businesses
  • Managing and reporting weekly cashflow
  • Cashflow analysis
  • Preparing cashflow reports and adhoc reports for senior management and shareholders
  • Management of the nominal accounts
  • Handling of the year end accounts and statutory acccounts
  • Audit preparation, working with external auditors at year end
  • Handling all aspects of the payroll including reconciliation into the month end

This is very much an all-round role. The right candidate will have experience in the above. You will also be qualified ACCA/CIMA and be looking for a rewarding role in a business that offers a really lovely working environment.
