Rents and Service Charge Accountant | £24 - £28 per hour (umbrella) | Cheshire:
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a Housing Association in the Midlands who are looking to recruit a Rent and Service Charge Officer their busy and growing team. The role is offered on an initial interim basis to deal with back logs, with hybrid working.
Duties:
- Responsible for the service charge accounts and budgeting
- Monitoring service charge costs against budgets and investigating any variances
- Completing weekly reconciliations of service charge accounts and preparing balance sheet reconciliations
- Dealing with internal/external quires and complains
- Presenting and translating financial information to a varied audience
Experience:
- Experience working within the
Housing Sector and ideally withing rents and service charge
- Able to pick up new processes and systems quickly and efficiently
- AAT qualified or experience to this level
