Project Engineer:
We are working with a reputable manufacturing company, that supplies specialized telecoms and security products to the Oil & Gas, energy, and Defence industries. Known for their wired Public Address and CCTV systems, they are expanding and seeking a Project Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Job Overview
The Project Engineer will undertake a variety of engineering tasks to ensure successful project fulfillment. Reporting to the Projects Director, this role involves managing projects from the point of sale through system design, client acceptance, and delivery. The position also includes supporting Commissioning Engineers post-delivery and installation.
Key Responsibilities
System Design:
- Design systems based on project requirements using standard products and innovative solutions.
- Produce engineering drawings and documentation for client approval.
Manufacturing Support:
- Provide detailed project documentation for the manufacturing process.
- Support production staff during the build and test phases.
Acceptance Testing:
- Attend and host Factory Acceptance Testing events to ensure systems meet client specifications.
Post-Delivery Support:
- Assist clients during installation and support Commissioning Engineers during Site Acceptance Testing.
- Offer ongoing support throughout the system's lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio, and possibly AutoCAD
- Technical engineering qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or relevant industry experience
- Experience in a similar role or through education
