Interim Finance & Payroll Officer - Indian Queens - £30,000 FTE

Trial Balance Consulting have been assigned by one of our long standing clients, a well-established and highly successful manufacturing business located in Indian Queens. The company seeks to recruit a Finance officer to join them on a full time, interim basis with an estimated contract duration of 3 months.

Working closely alongside a highly experienced Financial Controller and as part of a small team, this will be a broad and interesting assignment focussing on accounts receivable and payroll administration, but with a range of wider accounting duties. Key responsibilities to include:

  • Assume a lead role where accounts receivable and aged debtor management is concerned. This will likely entail creating new customer accounts, raising invoices, acting as a key point of contact for customer queries and reporting on overdue invoices
  • Work closely with people management function to ensure an efficient weekly and monthly payroll procedures, focussing on general payroll administration and assisting in resolving employee queries
  • Bank and stock reconciliations
  • Assist in the production of management reports
  • Assist the FC with a range of accounting projects where required

For this role we're looking for an experienced 'allrounder' who can hit the ground running and with good general transactional accounting knowledge. The successful candidate will ideally be part qualified AAT but suitable QBEs are also welcome to apply. The role will require excellent administration skills with strong IT aptitude and good general communication skills.
