What our client is offering for the successful Head of People & Development:
- £65,000 - £75,000 P/Annum
- Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 (some flexibility to meet work demand)

The Role - Head of People & Development:
- Develop the people plans for central aligned with the organisational strategy
- Create and update people policies
- Review and implement effective People teams and structures for the central functions
- Work in partnership with the Group Head of L&D to ensure the right development and succession plans are in place for the central teams
- building effective high-performance teams/structures delivering to budget and the company strategy
- Ensures the group operates within the requirements of employment law and ethical policy at all times
- Provides a professional advisory service that gives effective solutions to people
- Ensure effective employee representative groups in place that are legally compliant and support positive employee relations
- Develop engagement plans
- Work with the Occupational Health resource
What we are looking for in an Head of People & Development:
- Previous experience working in a Head of HR, HR Lead, Head of People role - ESSENTIAL
- CIPD Level 7 - DESIREABLE
- CIPD Level 5 - ESSENTIAL
- Experience of food manufacturing industry - DESIREABLE
- Change Management Process Knowledge - ESSENTIAL
- Coaching and Mentoring a team experience - ESSENTIAL
- Exceptional Communication Skills
- Must be able to travel to their site in Kent approximately once per month
