Job Title: Commercial Property Legal Secretary

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000

Location: Canterbury

An excellent opportunity has arisen with my client, a leading law firm based in Kent. We are seeking a highly motivated and career driven Legal Secretary to join a busy Commercial Property team. You will have the opportunity to work with a highly reputable team while being given the framework to develop your own career.

Duties include:

  • Providing full secretarial support within all aspects of commercial property, such as Land registry applications and SDLT returns
  • Diary management
  • Onboarding new clients and carrying out KYC checks
  • Preparing letters and emails
  • Digital dictation
  • Billing
  • Dealing with correspondence and ensuring all correspondence and documents are accurately filed in the case management system

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years' experience as a Legal Secretary/Assistant in a Commercial Property team
  • Previous experience with Legal software packages and/or case management systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Package:

  • £24,000 - £26,000
