Our Client a dynamic and forward-thinking technology firm that specialises in providing software solutions for Financial Advisers and has done so for over 25 years.
This role will focus on mainly outbound telephone-based sales activity designed to generate, qualify, and assist in converting new sales opportunities.
There will also be a flow of inbound sales calls and inbound leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilising a range of different data sources, (including a database of potential clients) to create and maintain a list of potential sales opportunities
- With a focus on telephone-based activity, build a contact strategy for this prospect list with the intent of generating qualified leads with a need for the company's software products that can be passed to the Business Development Manager
- Work with the Business Development Manager to help turn qualified leads into converted sales
- Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with all relevant information in relation to sales leads, ensuring accurate data is produced in relation to the sales pipeline
- Work closely with the Business Development Manager and the wider Sales team to meet and exceed assigned revenue targets
- Develop a good working knowledge of the FinCalc proposition
- Stay up-to-date with new product launches and wider industry news
Requirements
- Minimum of GCSE in English and Maths at Grade C (or equivalent)
- 1+ years of B2B/B2C sales/account management experience
- Experience in a Telesales role or similar.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with the ambition to grow the business.
- Dynamic, positive, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience of working within the mortgage or wealth industries is desirable
- Experience of working within technology industry is desirable
