The Team & Focus of the Role

Our Valuation & Professional Practice department is growing, and we'd love to welcome you to our friendly and forward-thinking team. The department undertakes valuations in all sectors, as well as specialising in providing expert advice on compensation matters and the acquisition of land or rights both for claimants and acquirers.

We are now looking for a Project Coordinator to join our national Compulsory Purchase & Compensation team. You will be working closely with key team members on a broad range of projects acting for both claimants and acquiring authorities. The department operates in a number of sectors including road, rail, flood alleviation, airports, nuclear energy and district heating.

This role would suit an individual who is a motivated self-starter and really thrives working in a fast-paced environment with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to provide great service both to internal colleagues and external clients.

This is a permanent, full-time position (Mon-Fri), based in our Worcester office within our hybrid working policy. Travel to other offices will be required on an ad-hoc basis.

Duties will include:

  • Working within the team to provide support and manage delivery of land tasks and land entry including coordination of service of statutory notices and landowner engagement.
  • Building relationships and communicating with landowners, including arranging and attending meetings and wider engagement events.
  • Liaison with Client project teams including project managers, designers, construction contractors and third party land agents.
  • Supporting the wider Compulsory Purchase team with diary management and project coordination.
  • Coordinate and manage actions and client programmes.

The successful candidate will have...

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Excellent organisational skills, and is confident working to deadlines
  • Experience of project management would be advantageous
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Be confident with using Microsoft Office, with great IT skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Clear and professional communication styles, both written and verbal
