Working in and around barking and dagenham area
To drive up to 37 seat passenger carrying vehicles and other Council vehicles.
To be responsible for the well being of passengers and users whilst in the care of the Service
To ensure that appropriate records/registers are maintained for passengers and users travelling on the vehicle.
To be responsible for conveyance of messages or the safe keeping of envelopes passing between the passenger's carers and the school/centre and vice-versa.
To ensure any medication/equipment transported with the passenger is carried safety and legally.
When undertaking passenger assistant duties, ensure that customers in wheelchairs and special seats are adequately secured within the vehicle and all safety belts are properly adjusted and fitted.
To be able to work the varied hours required of the service
To be able to commute easily from home to attend appropriate locations within the Borough at times required of the service
Ability to communicate with all individuals through use of personality
