Holiday Sales Advisor

£22,000 - £23,000 DOE

Market Harborough, Office based

Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 19:00 (weekend work required on a rota basis)

Macildowie are excited to be working with a travel business, who are looking for their next sales and service superstar.

As a Holiday Sales Specialist, you will create positive connections with customers to recommend and sell unforgettable holidays. Your goal is to ensure a seamless pre-travel customer experience, fostering trust, loyalty, and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a brand ambassador, showcasing in-depth product knowledge to exceed customer needs and drive loyalty.
  • Maximise sales opportunities by actively listening to customers, identifying buying signals, and overcoming objections warmly and genuinely.
  • Communicate enthusiastically with customers to build excitement about their holiday, establishing rapport, confidence, and trust.
  • Manage customer interactions across phone, email, and live chat, matching needs with products and services to maximise revenue and satisfaction.
  • Proactively contact customers with offers, updates, and information to ensure a stress-free holiday.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer queries and fulfil their needs.
  • Use all available systems to accurately inform, record, and fulfil customer needs.
  • Adhere to all booking conditions, instructions, and regulatory requirements to ensure accuracy and integrity in service.

Requirements:

  • Passion for customer care and travel.
  • Ownership of targets, performance, and development.
  • Curiosity to ask the right questions to meet customer requirements.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Positive influence on team and business performance.
  • Minimum 6 months of sales/service experience.
  • Good geographical knowledge.
  • GCSE level or equivalent in Maths & English.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
