£65,000 - £70,000 + Bonus

This key role involves leading the FP&A team, overseeing the submission of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, and delivering consolidated group reporting. The role supports the submission of the 3-year strategic plan and supports the C-suite with key decision-making for the business.

As the FP&A Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Oversee the quarterly forecast and annual budget submission process in collaboration with Finance Business Partners and functional leaders.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly board reports and executive commentary for the UK & Ireland.
  • Lead the coordination of the month-end flash reporting process, working closely with Management Accounts and Commercial Finance teams.
  • Design and develop insightful, consolidated reporting tailored for an executive-level audience.
  • Support the preparation and submission of the company's 3-year strategic plan.
  • Prepare monthly rolling forecasts and track productivity initiatives.
  • Assist the European FP&A team with reporting and ad-hoc financial analysis.
  • Provide strategic financial support to the CEO, CFO, and Commercial Finance team.
  • Enhance planning and reporting by improving existing systems and introducing new solutions.
  • Coordinate weekly cross-functional updates for the CFO.
  • Collaborate with European FP&A to align reporting practices, enhancing the visibility of regional results and streamlining reporting processes.
  • Manage and mentor an FP&A Analyst/Business Partner.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform business strategy.

The successful FP&A Manager will have/be:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • Significant experience in Commercial Finance, Management Accounting and Financial Reporting
  • Experience in group consolidated reporting in a corporate environment within a multi-site business
  • Background in Financial planning and modelling desired
  • Experience analysing trends and using these to provide insightful commentary
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace change
  • Good communication skills at all levels including with non-finance colleagues
  • Proactive approach and ability to work using own initiative
  • Strong Excel skills combined with numeracy skills and attention to detail
