Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and innovative Art lessons.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to experiment and take risks.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students in hands-on learning experiences.
  • Assess student progress through ongoing formative assessments and periodic summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their development and achievement in Art.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and ideas for enhancing the teaching and learning of Art across the school.
  • Excellent Communication, Clear and effective communication skills in verbal and written forms.
  • Passionate about art Genuine enthusiasm for literature and language, inspiring students' interest.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Relevant degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.
  • Experience Teaching Art at The Secondary Level Is Preferred.
  • Strong artistic skills and a passion for creativity and self-expression.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting confidence, creativity, and cultural awareness.

  • Competitive salary ranging from £34,514 to £51,179 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
