Trident Healthcare Solutions are currently looking for experienced Biomedical Scientist's in Haematology.
This superior hospital provides high quality healthcare within the region, working with leading consultants and offering a wide range of treatments. Working alongside trained Biomedical Scientists and other trained professionals, you will be part of a collaborative team.
What is the day-to-day of the role:
- Performing and interpreting a range of laboratory tests on blood and other body fluid.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.
- Record keeping and quality control.
- Providing results and advice to medical staff.
- Working as part of a supportive team of Biomedical Scientists and Medical Lab Assistants.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- HCPC registration
- 3+ years' experience as a Biomedical Scientist.
- Specialist qualification (IBMS portfolio/ blue book)
- Automated Haem/ Coag (SysmexXN/CS analysers).
- Blood Transfusion (BioRadIH500 analysers), LIMS (Winpath Enterprise), QMS (Q-Pulse).
- Morphology experience desirable.
