This flexible opportunity is ideal for a self-motivated legal professional with a strong background in construction law and experience working on both national and international projects.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on construction contracts, disputes, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various construction agreements, including service contracts, subcontracts, and procurement documents.
- Represent clients in dispute resolution processes such as mediation, adjudication, and international arbitration.
- Conduct legal research and remain up to date with industry-specific legislation.
- Support clients in understanding their legal rights and obligations.
- Collaborate with other professionals to deliver well-rounded legal solutions.
- Prepare accurate legal documentation and correspondence.
**Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate in the UK.
- Proven experience in construction law (domestic and international).
- In-depth knowledge of JCT, NEC, and FIDIC contracts.
- Familiarity with international arbitration and adjudication procedures.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- A client-focused, proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.
