A prestigious design firm is seeking a skilled and meticulous Architectural Technologist to join their innovative team in Guildford. The successful Architectural Technologist will have sufficient experience working on retail projects and will be comfortable conducting site visits and running projects through all RIBA stages. You will demonstrate exceptional technical proficiency, an eye for detail, and a drive for creating cutting-edge design solutions. You should have excellent knowledge of current UK building regulations and will be proficient using Revit and AutoCAD.
Skills, Responsibilities and Experience for the role of Architectural Technologist:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software, with strong experience in Revit preferred.
- Thorough understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and project managers to develop detailed construction drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all designs comply with building regulations and standards.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in the preparation of planning applications and building control documentation.
