MFL Teacher job - Market Harborough

End date: Until Christmas with the potential to extend
Position: French and/or Spanish Teacher
Location: South Leicestershire-based Secondary School
We are working in partnership with a secondary school in South Leicestershire who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed MFL teacher to join their team. You will be teaching French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4. KS5 experience would be desired but not essential. ECTs are welcome to apply. This is a long-term position to start in September for the first term initially, with the potential to extend.
Job Description:
- Delivering engaging and creative MFL lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
- Participating in extracurricular activities such as school trips.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
- Bachelor's degree in MFL (French or Spanish) or related field.
- Recent experience teaching French and/or Spanish at secondary school level.
- Strong behaviour/classroom management.
- The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
