Great opportunity to join an established yet expanding and credible Investment Manager in Central London.
This is a part time role that would suit someone who would enjoy being in the office however, with mutually agreeable part time hours.
Working in a respectful, intelligent environment, core duties will include but not limited to:
- Issuing employment contracts and any amendments thereto as may be required.
- Managing the HR on-boarding cycle, (including IT set up, background checks, right to work checks and visa applications if applicable. HR inductions will be completed for all new staff to include introductory meetings with key people, communicating payroll, benefits and pension.
- Assisting with annual appraisals (preparation of forms, facilitating the co-ordination and return and dealing with any issues).
- Maintain and update benefits as employee's circumstances change, i.e. adding new joiners, dependants, leavers etc in conjunction with the payroll team.
- Bi-annual background screening for staff.
- Handling employee relations and general day to day queries as may arise, including preparation of employment verification letters.Completing exit interviews and providing feedback. Completing the leaver process working with the IT, Compliance and Payroll teams.Timely preparation of references, including regulatory. Benchmark well-being and benefit policies, working with brokers at renewals.
- Maintaining HR policies in accordance with employment legislation and keeping the Staff Handbook updated.
- Maintaining the "HR"inbox, responding and dealing with incoming emails.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced generalist HR professional to take ownership of the HR duties in this scaling business, it affords you the chance to take ownership and put your stamp on the role. Working closely with the leadership team you will ideally come from a FS background and be CIPD qualified.
