Salary : £40,000 Location : Newcastle – Upon – Tyne Hybrid working : No, this role is based on site 5 days a week. Working Hours : 35 hours per week. Core hours are 08:00-16:00 / 09:00-17:00
THE ROLE
Able to demonstrate expertise across various technical domains, including networking components and enterprise server setups. You will be working closely with your inhouse support team and external Managed Service Partner ensures seamless system and network operations.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working within an IT Technical Team.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft platforms, including Windows Server 2016, 2019, and Windows 8.1.
- Proficiency in various services and applications, such as Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server, Hyper-V, and Remote Desktop Services.
- Expertise in networking components, routers, switches, wireless technologies, and firewalls.
- Experience with enterprise server setups, including Blade systems and high-density servers.
- Familiarity with enterprise networking, especially with Cisco technologies.
- Knowledge and experience in cloud computing services.
- Strong understanding of major networking components, network operating systems, and basic computer hardware components.

To excel in this role you'll need:
- 4-5 years of solid infrastructure support experience.
- Mastery of networking components, computer hardware, and related technologies.
- Familiarity with networking equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Experience with enterprise server setups, including Blade systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft platforms such as Windows Server 2016, 2019, and associated applications.
- Knowledge of enterprise networking, particularly with Cisco technologies and cloud computing services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent teamwork skills and composure under pressure.
- Passion for innovation and exploration of new technologies.
- Clear communication skills to effectively articulate technical concepts.
