We're hiring for an Electronics Operative with some basic experience of soldering to join a well-established electronics manufacturer based in Sheffield. The company design and manufacture electrical and electronic products providing expert solutions and the highest levels of product knowledge.
This Electronics Operative role includes helping to assemble many different products so you'll need to be competent at electrical assembly and working from written instructions / diagrams.
What's on offer?
- Circa £13.00 per hour plus overtime
- Mon to Thursday shifts (four day week as standard)
- Overtime available to extend days or come in on Friday
What will you be doing as an Electronics Operative?
- Electrical and Electronic assembly activities
- Carrying out inspections and quality of products to ensure they meet the required standards
- Ensuring all products meet both the requirements of current build lines and comply to the company wide quality standards
- Carrying out basic mechanical tasks using small tools and other general assembly tasks
- Conducting any general assembly tasks including the use of hand tools, fixtures and fitting
What skills do you need as an Electronics Operative?
- Electrical / electronic assembly experience
- Understanding of components idents and markings are essential
- Reliability and a flexible working attitude
- Good attention to detail
