Junior Acoustic Consultant
My client, founded in 2004, are a UKAS accredited consultancy that specialises in acoustic engineering and noise control solutions. They offer personalised services to tackle the distinct acoustic challenges faced by their clients, providing a comprehensive package encompassing noise studies, acoustic design, and mitigation solutions. Their expertise spans various sectors including education, healthcare, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science (BSc) or a Master of Science (MSc) in acoustic engineering or a related field along with certification from the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum of one-year practical experience in conducting sound and noise assessments.
- Possession of a valid UK driver's licence.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Collaborating with key stakeholders across various departments to ensure timely delivery and meet all project deadlines.
- Compiling technical data from assessments and creating comprehensive technical reports for clients.
- Conducting surveys and evaluations on noise and vibration using specialized modeling software.
- Ensuring that all assessments and remedial advice align with and exceed British standards, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining effective communication and strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the project's lifecycle.
