Our client is seeking a
Quality Manager
to join their business and contribute to their continued growth.
With multiple sites located across Hull, you'll be working closely with Supply Chain, Operational Management, Sales, Suppliers and Customers ensuring quality standards are achieved and compliance standards are met to customer specification.
The role of
Quality Manager
is pivotal working closely with raw materials, production and production processes. You will be involved with continuous improvement projects and liaise closely with production operatives maintaining high standards of compliance. You will be expected to visit customers and suppliers as and when needed, although this will be infrequent and local travel, however, there may be the need to spend a night away if business demands require it.
The Quality Manager role:
- Qualified and experienced with ISO9001 & 14001.
- Implementing quality standards.
- Reporting and analysing statistical data.
- Problem-solving using route cause analysis.
- Internal auditor.
- Quality inspections thought the supply chain and production processes.
- Environmental legislation knowledge.
The Candidate:
- Strong leadership experience.
- Implementing training plans to operatives.
- Communicate effectively with senior management teams.
- Relationship building with suppliers and customers.
- Investigating trends.
- Having a Timber background, working with Wood Machinery or having Caravan building experience would be advantageous
The Benefits:
- Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience
