We are seeking a School Bursar to join a "Good" school in the Accrington area. This full-time role requires a dedicated individual with experience in school finance and administration. The position starts after the October Half-term.
Day to Day of the role:
- Oversee the school's financial operations, including payroll and credit notes.
- Manage administrative systems such as SIMS and ScoPay.
- Maintain a high standard of communication within the school environment.
- Ensure accurate use of spelling and grammar in all documentation.
- Commit to professional development and continuous learning.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and adults.
- Uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a school office or similar setting.
- Proficiency with school administrative and financial systems.
- A very high standard of communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children.
- Ability to work hard, flexibly, and use initiative.
