We are seeking an Electrical Installation Tutor to join our team and contribute to the high-quality training of the next generation of electricians. Whether you are an experienced tutor or a seasoned electrician eager to transition into education, this role offers a fulfilling opportunity to mentor and guide both apprentices and adult learners.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Deliver theoretical and practical sessions to apprentices undertaking the City & Guilds 5357 Electrical Apprenticeship.
  • Plan, mark, and assess teaching sessions, ensuring a high standard of education.
  • Provide additional support to learners when necessary.
  • Collaborate with employers to support the successful training of their apprentices.
  • Conduct assessments and skills scans at our Birmingham Training Centre.
  • Assess practical work and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • AET (PTLLS) Level 3 qualification or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • C&G Electrical Installation Level 2 and Level 3 or completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
  • A passion for teaching and helping students achieve their goals.
  • Good IT skills and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • For experienced electricians seeking a career change, relevant industry qualifications such as 18th Edition, 2391, PAT Testing are desired (training will be provided).
