Salary: £26,444-£43,795 (Dependant on experience)
What the role entails
This is an exciting opportunity to join a focused and ambitious Sport and Uniformed Protective Services Department as a Teacher of Sport. We are looking for a motivated and innovative individual to support the academic achievement of our students with a particular focus on themes relating to sports science. The college offers Sport courses from Level 1 to Level 3, with a strong emphasis on high standards and expectations and a sharp focus on progression.
What we need from you
To be successful in the role, you will need:
- A teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd or equivalent) preferably with an SEN specialism
- Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
- Track record of effective teaching in subject specialism
- Gain/hold and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
