Position: Mechanical Engineer
Location: London (EC4A)
Hours: 8am - 5pm
Pay: Circa £24 per hour
We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer based in a large, public building in the City of London (EC4A).
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Recognized Mechanical and Electrical Engineering qualifications
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experienced in fault-finding for:
- BMS (Building Management Systems)
- LTHW (Low-Temperature Hot Water) systems
- CLTHW (Closed Loop Hot Water) systems
- HVAC, pumps, motors, LV power systems
- First Aid at Work certification
Desirable Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395
- Experience with Cooling Towers
- IPAF Certification for 3a & 3b machines
- Knowledge of the L8 Approved Code of Practice (ACOP)
- Permit to Work (PTW) system knowledge and experience
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Effective communication with customers on site.
- Follow Health and Safety guidelines and ensure robust practices.
- Prioritize workload and manage compliance with contract KPIs and SLAs.
- Support the account and broader business with other reasonable tasks.
