(Design Engineer) - Position Overview
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and objectives.
- Utilise CAD software to develop detailed designs and technical drawings in accordance with project specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure the viability and safety of propose designs.
- Perform through analysis and testing of prototypes to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement.
- Generate comprehensive documentation, including design reports, drawings and bill of materials.
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the manufacturing and implementation phases in design engineering.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements and best practices in design engineering.
- Actively participate in design reviews and contribute innovative ideas to enhance product performance and efficiency.
(Design Engineer) - Position Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Design Engineer, preferably within manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such a SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to the industry.
- A proactive mindset and a passion for innovation, with a desire to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
(Design Engineer) - Position Remuneration
- Salary of £35k+, Dependent on experience
- Monday - Thursday 8am - 4:30pm
- Friday 8am - 12:30pm
- 5 hrs per week
