Description
As the Product Design Engineer you will:
- Develop and implement innovative product designs for an existing product portfolio
- Collaborate with the Engineering & Manufacturing team
- Perform detailed technical analyses of products
- Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes to designs
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Support prototype testing and quality control procedures
- Provide design documentation and reports
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Profile
A successful Product Design Engineer should have:
- Relevant educational qualifications in Engineering, Design or related fields
- Proven experience in product design within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in CAD software, specifically CREO
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
Job Offer
- An hourly rate c£25-£28 per hour, inside IR35
- Minimum 6 month contract with possible extension and/or a permanent position
