Description

As the Product Design Engineer you will:

  • Develop and implement innovative product designs for an existing product portfolio
  • Collaborate with the Engineering & Manufacturing team
  • Perform detailed technical analyses of products
  • Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes to designs
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support prototype testing and quality control procedures
  • Provide design documentation and reports
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Profile

A successful Product Design Engineer should have:

  • Relevant educational qualifications in Engineering, Design or related fields
  • Proven experience in product design within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in CAD software, specifically CREO
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations

Job Offer

  • An hourly rate c£25-£28 per hour, inside IR35
  • Minimum 6 month contract with possible extension and/or a permanent position
