Day Based role Monday to Friday
£c 50 - 52,000 DOE

My Client is a large FMCG (Fast Moving Consumable Goods) company that is now looking for Engineering Facilities Manager.

Within the role of Engineering Facilities Manager you will be reporting into the Site Engineering Manager and would be required to ensure that site services and facilities are always working effectively and to Assist the group Engineering manager to make decisions based on needs of the business. This includes maintaining operation and ensuring adequate contractual cover is always in place. This will include but is not restricted to, HV/LV electrical infrastructure, gas generation, compressed air, effluent/wastewater systems, water storage and distribution systems, buildings, CCTV, fire alarm and gas detection systems and any insurance items related to the above systems. You would be besponsible for identifying, collating and coordinating actions/repairs linked to buildings and Fabric condition.

The successful Engineering Facilities Manager will be expected to work with numerous contractors/service providers and must ensure that company policy is always adhered to

This is not a people managing role, but you would cover team management responsibilities for the Engineering Team Leader during absence during holiday period etc so would need to be comfortable handling some people issues such as holiday requests for a few weeks a year

Skills & Experience required:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Have experience of buildings facilities and associated systems management
  • Food related Hygiene course
  • 5 Years experience in a food or food related.

Salary and Benefits:
A salary of between £50 - 52000 doe
