Are you a Maintenance Fitter looking for a new permanent opportunity with a major rolling mill company who are steel specialists in the Wednesbury and Walsall area? If yes, we want to hear from you!
Annual Salary:
£34,000 to £36,000 (DOE)
Weekly hours:
6am - 2pm Mon to Thurs, 1pm finish on Fri (39 hrs a week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair of rolling mills, slitters and other machinery
- Planning and undertaking scheduled PPM'S (planned preventative maintenance tasks) in relevant timeframes.
- Pro-active to call outs / breakdowns / line stoppages in timescales agreed.
- Diagnosing faults & repairing equipment
- Creating a spare parts solution plan
- Monitor breakdown and repair data using in house computer system
- Encourage continuous improvement and highlight deficiencies
- Attend meeting and training courses as required
- Ensuring that all machinery and equipment runs efficiently at all times with minimum downtime.
- Providing support to maintenance team, including coaching and mentoring staff
