SEND Teacher
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time SEND teacher to work at an SEND School based in the East Riding. The school are seeking a Primary Trained Teacher for their Primary class of 12 pupils. Payment for this position will be between £130 and £211.96 per day, depending on experience and qualifications. Working hours for this position will be between 8:30 AM and 3:30PM.
This role will involve teaching Primary aged pupils with SEND, and teaching them various subjects including: Maths, English, ICT, and general life skills. Marking will be expected for this position, but there are some schemes of work available to base your learning off and a lot of SLT/teacher support. Generally, teachers that are successful in this role come from a background of teaching students with SEND, or can come from a primary background. This is an extremely fulfilling role where you can promote real change and progress with a small group of students. The children have complex and medical needs. You will have a number of TA's in class with you. All students have EHCP's.
Located in East Riding of Yorkshire, the school is state of the art with excellent facilities. It has an onsite car park that is free to use for all staff.
You will be working within a very experienced SEND team that are well respected and renowned within the school. Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College.
To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
- Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience working within Primary Schools and with SEND Pupils
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
