Salary: £45,000 – 55,000 Per Annum + Bonus + Allowance

This role will be responsible for leading, creating and executing the company's marketing strategy and plan, in line with commercial objectives, as well as day-to-day marketing activity including copywriting. A key player in making our growth strategy happen, the Marketing Manager will use best marketing practice, creative innovation and data-led decision making to build brand identity and vision, increase industry awareness and transform lead generation.

Responsibilities of a Marketing Manager:

  • Work with senior leadership to establish and implement the company's brand identity and vision
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to expand market reach, boost lead generation, and enhance brand awareness
  • Analyse marketing data to inform strategic planning
  • Oversee and manage the lead-generation process
  • Assist with brand visibility and logistics for events like exhibitions and conferences
  • Evaluate and improve marketing activities with creative ideas to drive growth
  • Redesign websites to align with business objectives and improve commercial impact
  • Plan and produce impactful content for social media, digital, video, and print channels
  • Develop and direct the creation of marketing materials, including websites, ads, blogs, brochures, and videos
  • Collaborate with experts to produce authoritative marketing content
  • Conduct briefings with senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations
  • Ensure clear and coordinated messaging with senior team collaboration
  • Uphold brand excellence and consistency in all communications
  • Work with HR to ensure consistent employer branding and internal communications
  • Manage the department budget to maximize ROI
  • Oversee the marketing funnel and CRM processes
  • Manage relationships with external design and digital agencies
  • Mentor and develop the Marketing Assistant

Requirements of a Marketing Manager:

  • Must have a Full UK Drivers License
  • Willingness and ability to travel both nationally and internationally as required
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing brand identity strategies
  • Experience working in a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) environment, with the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic setting
  • A proactive individual who can seamlessly transition between strategic planning and hands-on execution
  • A solid understanding of technical concepts, enabling effective communication and collaboration with technical teams
  • Demonstrated experience in business-to-business (B2B) marketing, with a focus on building strong relationships and driving results
  • Confidence in presenting and sharing ideas with senior stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication and influencing skills
  • A dynamic individual who brings energy and personality to the team, fostering a positive and engaging work environment
  • Experience in implementing and managing new CRM systems to enhance marketing and sales processes
  • Proven experience in managing and developing a marketing team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Marketing degree preferred
  • CIM digital qualification / equivalent preferred
