We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Support person to assist with general maintenance tasks in student accommodation. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a broad range of maintenance skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance across the halls of residence.
- Reseal showers and repair or replace shower doors as needed.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform basic plumbing, joinery, and general handyman tasks.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with site staff and report any issues or hazards.
**Requirements:
- Proven experience in a general maintenance or handyman role.
- Good all-round maintenance skills including basic plumbing, joinery, and sealing.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Friendly and professional attitude, especially when working in a student environment.
