The Opportunity:
As a Senior Contentious Insolvency Manager, you will find yourself at the heart of managing a challenging and technical portfolio of cases. From investigation duties to managing transparent creditor communications, orchestrating asset realizations, conducting thorough investigations, navigating intricate and technical transactions, managing claims and correspondence, to ensuring the smooth closure of cases - you'll be the pivot around which our clients cases revolve and are brought to completion. As a leadership opportunity, you will have the backing of a well regarded and high profile leadership team and you will certainly have progression built into your roadmap.
What Awaits:
- Spearheading claims agreement and distribution processes in contentious insolvency cases.
- Steering and advancing a spectrum of responsibilities, including meticulously reviewing received claims, validating their eligibility, determining their quantum, and reaching consensus.
- Managing contentious cases, investigations and fraud claims.
- Nurturing and mentoring junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment of growth.
- Tackling intricate, notable cases and unravelling complex challenges. These cases could often be in the public eye.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
A bachelor's degree or impressive A-Level results and or paired with hands-on, direct and relevant Contentious Insolvency experience. ACCA, CPI or JIEB qualifications will be highly advantageous.
A proven track record in professional services or a corporate setting, with a focus on formal, corporate and contentious insolvency.
Experience as either a Contentious Insolvency Manager or a Senior Manager within an Insolvency Practice or Accountancy firm.
Profound familiarity with the UK Insolvency statutory and regulatory framework, investigations and asset tracing.
A flair for numbers and a keen analytical prowess.
