We are looking to recruit a hardworking and reliable team member to join them . The ideal candidate is someone who is looking for long term work.
Location: Barnsley - Wombwell S73
Hourly Rate: £11.44 per hour plus £1.19 shift allowance where applicable
Weekly pay through the agency for 12 weeks before consideration for a permanent contract.
Available: Immediately on a Temp to perm basis
The shift pattern: 7am - 3pm
Half hour unpaid lunch
Overview: Duties will include unpacking / unboxing , coiling and packing. You will also update records and maintain a clean and safe work environment .
This role will include manual work.
The Role
- Ensure the correct availability of materials
- Ensure all goods are packed securely with correct labels
- Maintaining records
- Monitoring scrap / wastage
- Keeping the work area clean & tidy
- Ensure Health and Safety rules are adhered to
- Follow standard operating procedures
- Be committed to continuous improvement
The Successful Candidate
- Experience within a manufacturing / production setting
- Experience of using hand tools would be of an advantage
- Good standard of verbal and written English
- Positive can-do attitude
- Must be able to use own initiative
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must have own transport or be able to commute to the site reliably (start time 7am in S73)
