We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Residential Team Leader to join a 6-bed home that supports young people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities. The home currently has 2 young people in place and is rated Good overall, with Outstanding Leadership. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role within a supportive and well-established home.

Key Responsibilities:

What We're Looking For:

  • Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare or equivalent (minimum requirement).
  • Previous experience working with young people with learning disabilities or physical disabilities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and support staff on shift.
  • An understanding of challenging behaviour, though full restraint training is not required.
  • Personal care experience, including hoisting.
  • Reliability and commitment (we're looking for someone who wants to stay long-term, not job-hoppers).
  • Driving licence (automatic accepted).

Benefits & Opportunities:

  • Competitive salary with sleep-in payment.
  • 2 on, 4 off rota for a good work-life balance.
  • Opportunities for career progression and development.
  • A stable and supportive team with a focus on professional growth.

Interview Process:

  • Stage 1: Teams interview with formal questions to assess your experience.
  • Stage 2: Face-to-face interview to ensure you are comfortable with the environment.

We are looking for candidates to start as soon as possible, but are happy to wait for those currently working their notice periods. The role will require references from the last 5 years, especially in care-related positions.

If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with disabilities and want to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you! Apply today.
