Management Accountant - French Speaking

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a private equity firm based in West London, currently seeking a French speaking Management Accountant.

Day to day of the role:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for operations, ensuring decision-making processes and escalations are clear and effective.
  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement of processes and controls to ensure the highest integrity of financial reporting and management reporting.
  • Conduct day-to-day accounting tasks, including Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Payroll for approximately 10 members of staff, VAT, and other reconciliation activities, in compliance with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.
  • Streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency while considering the diversity of EMEA requirements.
  • Participate in the lease accounting process to ensure compliance.
  • Current accounting system is outsourced; new hire may need to integrate accounting software for the company.
  • Manage treasury and banking activities, including cash reconciliations, funding requests, and preparation of quarterly cash flow forecasts.
  • Assist in internal and external audits to fulfil audit requirements.
  • Complete all tasks in a timely manner, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Engage in ad-hoc projects as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • QBE or Part or fully Qualified considered
  • Speak fluent French and English
  • Proven experience in finance operations
  • Ability to prepare detailed financial reports and conduct analysis.
  • Experience with Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Payroll, VAT, and reconciliations.
  • Competency in treasury and banking activities.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across various levels.
  • A proactive approach to process improvement and efficiency.
