About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess, track, and report on students' progress, providing feedback that supports their development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for mathematics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices, contributing to the overall success of the maths department.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students, creating a stimulating learning environment.
