Business Analyst

One of the UK's leading Wealth Managers are seeking to recruit an experienced Business Analyst to support the Client Services department and broader business in enhancing process efficiency and productivity.

The role involves managing project work, developing Avaloq (where it affects Client Services/Front Office), integrating new business, and improving exception reporting. A key focus will be on embedding Consumer Duty within the organisation. Reporting to the Head of Client Services, this role will promote consistency across both onshore and offshore client services teams.

The role is aimed at a Business Analyst with experience or working wit the Wealth Management sector, ideally with some Client Services knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to create a Client Services integration framework.
  • Support the Heads of Client Services in reviewing and improving departmental procedures.
  • Regularly review current processes for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in departmental projects in partnership with the Heads of Client Services.
  • Work closely with IT to document and enhance data upload processes, ensuring large-scale data changes are handled efficiently.
  • Establish a documented list of exception reports and ensure their integration into business-as-usual (BAU) processes.
  • Participate in project meetings as required.
  • Liaise with third-party providers to improve reporting with product providers.
  • Enhance client communication processes for better client interaction.
  • Assist in managing and implementing Compliance Monitoring action points.
  • Work with IT to define and implement solutions to regulatory and industry changes.
  • Manage small internal projects and provide support for larger initiatives.
  • Proactively develop knowledge of the financial services industry and undertake continuous professional development (CPD).

Key Competencies:

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of FCA Rules, Money Laundering regulations, and Corporate Actions.
  • Systems & Processes: Experience with internal procedures and regulatory awareness.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to liaise effectively with both internal teams and external third parties.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in managing projects, particularly those involving technical solutions and process improvements.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Organizational & Time Management: Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
