We are on the lookout for a Finance and Compliance Program Manager with Defence experience to join our client on an 8 month rolling contract.
The Finance and Compliance Program Manager (Defence), will be responsibities will include:
- Develop, launch and maintain global policies and local variations (addendums, dispensations, non-applicability) in accordance with the Global Policy Management Framework;
- Work closely with the regional Compliance Offices, and fellow Shared Services teams (Payments Risk, Assurance, Governance) as well as Program teams to ensure that policy requirements are embedded in first-line processes and training content;
- Support the Head of Policy in managing the Global Compliance Training Program, including overseeing 1LoD delivery of core training content, and managing the External Training Program.
- Oversee the implementation of policies locally, and manage deviations from policies as part of the breach management program, working with the local Payments Risk team to manage our risk exposure;
- Represent the Global Policy team in local forums, such as Board/Committees (as applicable), and to the Head of Compliance for MEA;
- Support the Head of Policy in the implementation and embedding of the Controls Framework within the 1LoD
- Provide ad-hoc in-country expertise to the MEA geographies on local regulations to support with a variety of tasks: policy development, advisory, regulatory mapping, gap assessments.
To be successful in this role, the Finance and Compliance Program Manager (Defence) must:
- Have 5 years' minimum experience in either finance, banking, payments or insurance.
- Experience of 3 lines Defence experience
- Direct experience in writing and implementing policies
- 2nd line Defence policy oversight working with policies and compliance
- Worked on a global scale
- Project/Program management experience
