You'll be working for an impressive £1.7 billion group of distribution businesses that continue to grow through the high-quality service they provide alongside quality, branded products. The Opportunity

As a General Manager, you will:

  • Have full autonomy and be responsible for the running of the entire business, including full P&L, managing and mentoring employees, driving sales, marketing, logistics and purchasing
  • Develop and maintain relationships with both new and some existing customers
  • Ensure the achievement of your set targets and objectives
  • Drive sales growth and company performance
  • Be at the forefront of representing and growing your business

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • B2B sales and management experience
  • Experience in the industrial sector, this can be mechanical, electrical etc.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to spot and capitalise on new business opportunities
  • A proven track record of developing relationships with both suppliers and customers
  • Natural leadership qualities
