Axon Moore delighted to be partnering with an ambitious, high-growth PE-backed business in Bolton to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their specialist team in a broad role responsible for invoicing, queries, creditor management, bank reconciliations and much more.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage the accounts payable inbox and resolve any queries
- Manage and analyse creditor ledger
- Sending remittances
- Assisting with payment runs
- Processs/controls improvement and review
- Setting up and managing supplier accounts
- Ensuring correct VAT applied to all raised invoices
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
- Bank reconciliations
- Ad-hoc duties
Required Experience and Skills:
- At least 1 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational and time-keeping skills
- High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
- Good IT and MS Excel skills
- Prior exposure to month-ends
