Finance manager duties are many and varied and to give you a flavour will include:-

  • Payroll responsibilities
  • Invoicing and credit control
  • Processing month end accounts and year end accounts (with support from accountants if required)
  • Dealing with expenses
  • Producing financial reports including profit and loss assessment.
  • Dealing with VAT submissions

Finance manager candidates should be:-

  • Flexible in their work, willing to do high levels of data processing as well as handle forecasting and budget planning
  • Possess excellent knowledge of HMRC taxation rules
