Sales Trainer

We are currently working alongside one of the UKs longest leading Information Resource Business for Tax and Accounting, HR, H&S and compliance Professionals.

My client takes sales coaching and training very seriously, it is the most fundamental area for their new recruits and for their tenured, it is important that they keep honing their skills to be the best at what they do.

This is a very exciting role, as there will be opportunity to bring new ideas to motivate and ensure their teams adopt your coaching. You will be a senior and will be responsible for designing new training initiatives based on the weekly 121 call coaching scores they take with the salespeople.

My client provides online platforms, legislation, insurance, advicelines, training materials, webinars, and tools for a variety of professionals to ensure they are kept credible and on top of the latest information including helping their organisations grow and be the best that they can be.

As a Sales Trainer you will be helping to increase the quality of their in-house Business Sales Consultants and Business Development Managers to ensure that appointments are being sat and that their closers are closing all sales.

There are heavy growth plans for the company as they take their sales force from 70 to 95 this year. You will work with other Super Coaches on induction, development and progression for the salespeople and will work with all parts of the business to ensure they are optimising every opportunity.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This role is critical in delivering support to the Sales teams in their drive to increase market penetration of all online information products.
  • You will be responsible for 121 call coaching and mentoring the teams around increasing referrals to sales and the quality of service. You may also be required to deliver and design engaging training to the teams.
  • Create a virtual and physical playbook for their salesforce on best practice and ensure there is engaging content.
  • You will also be expected to provide regular feedback to the Sales Leadership Team on any trends or gaps in knowledge discovered through call coaching.
  • This role will be responsible for increasing referrals and sales from this branch through excellent service and will need to work with the Sales Leadership Team to motivate, incentivise and ensure the 4 steps to a referral is adopted.
  • The role will need to be very adept at spotting opportunities to train and opportunities to upsell to coach sales team.
  • Quality checking sales calls against sales structure to deliver call coaching to inside sales teams.
  • Using score sheet to listen to calls and give a score as part of Sales Academy Share best practice etc.
  • Increase quality of calls across the board to increase appointment to close ratio.

  • Provide initial sales and product training, assist with delivering and facilitating sessions with internal stakeholders.
  • Retain current SLA in induction time to phone Adoption of learning through call coaching.
  • Facilitate adhoc and Lunch and Learn sessions, coaching sales individuals to deliver and present in an engaging way.
  • Organise relevant stakeholders, sales individuals to run sessions to ensure information learned is shared with their team members.
  • Adoption of learning in call coaching Change in behaviours.
