Based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, our rapidly growing client who is at a very exciting stage of growth is looking for a senior accountant to join and lead their team as Tax Manager on a permanent basis.
This job would suit a CTA qualified accountant with at least 4 years' experience in personal tax. You will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients, with the opportunity to work within corporate tax and trust.
Our well-established client is a consulting practice assisting businesses and private clients by delivering an end-to-end solution throughout their business journey.
The successful individual will have senior accounting experience with excellent technical knowledge. They must have prior experience within trusts and corporate tax. Excellent communication skills are essential.
Job responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
- Tax planning, including inheritance tax, trusts, demergers and tax
- Advising clients on tax implications
- Overseeing compliance
- Managing some corporate tax returns
- Preparing and overseeing complex tax returns
- Winning new business for the company
- Meeting new clients
