Maths teacher needed
VNA Education are looking for an inspired maths teacher ready to push their students to their full potential and have the opportunity to work in an Ofsted rated outstanding secondary school in Waltham Forest.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to support student understanding and achievement.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessment methods.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to facilitate their academic growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective mathematics curriculum and instructional practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in mathematics education.
- Degree in Mathematics or related field.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Previous experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level preferred but not required.
