RG Consultancy are working with a fast growing company based in Wilmslow who are recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant due to company growth. This is a brand new role and a fantastic opportunity for a driven Assistant Accountant who would like to progress, grow and develop within the business. This is a great time to join the company at an exciting time for the business. You will work closely with and support the Management Accountant and Financial Controller on a daily basis.

The Role
- Assisting in preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Accruals, prepayments, monthly journals
- Maintenance of fixed asset register
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Profit and loss
- Preparation and submission of VAT Returns
- Assisting in monitoring the financial performance of the company
- Assisting in implementing change and ongoing improvements for efficiency
- Assisting in year end and audit preparations
The Person
- At least 2 years experience as an assistant/management accountant
- Part qualified CIMA or ACCA and studying/finalist is preferred
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to details and accuracy
- Use of SAGE would be an advantage but not essential
