Our client has an excellent reputation and the Financial Planning & Analysis Business Partner will join a high performing and award winning finance function.

Based from their Liverpool office (hybrid working available) The Financial Planning & Analysis Business Partner will report into the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager and will work closely with the Finance Director. This role will play an integral part of helping the FP&A team to meet the forecasting & analysis needs for key stakeholders within the finance team and the wider business.

Our client has a strong presence in the UK but also a global reach. The business has revenues is excess of £500m and recent results have been outstanding. The business is able to offer first class progression and development opportunities that are hard to match.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the FP&A Manager on the short and medium term forecasting for UK and overseas entities.
  • Act as a Business Partner and provide analysis to senior stakeholders across the business
  • Play a key role in ensuring the successful adoption of the newly implemented FP&A software within the finance team
  • Create, develop and enhance performance dashboards in FP&A software which focus on the key financial metrics of the business
  • Support the FP&A Manager and Head of Finance in the production and understanding of Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Analysis of results to gain a full understanding of costs, variances against budgets and previous forecasts
  • Explain variances and trends to key stakeholders for the business
  • Support the FP&A Manager and wider business with any ad-hoc analysis requests

Key Requirements

  • Recognised accounting qualification or working towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Forecasting and Business Partnering experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and data manipulation
