Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a CNC Miller to their team on a permanent basis. You'll be based in the Ayrshire area.
Hours:
- Days: Monday – Thursday 7am – 3.30pm, Friday 7am – 2.30pm
- Backshift: Monday – Thursday 3.30pm – 12am (midnight), Friday 2.30pm – 7.30pm
Hourly Pay Rate: £14 – £16 p/hour and 15% shift allowance on backshift
Daily Duties –
- Programme, set, and operate CNC machines accurately and edit programmes on CNC lathe
- Use inspection equipment to ensure adherence to all sizes, tolerance, and surface finishes
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and documentation
Candidate Requirements –
- Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Previous experience with lathes or mills and vertical machine centres
- Sound understanding of Fanuc programming
- Driving Licence
