The role of Warehouse Supervisor in Cannock will involve:
- Managing a small team of colleagues.
- Ensuring customer orders are dispatched in a timely manner.
- Reporting data and KPIs to management.
- Ensuring items are loaded correctly into vehicles.
- Meeting and exceeding KPIs.
- Following all Health & Safety guidelines.
- Processing returned goods.
- Working one Sunday in six on a rotational basis (paid overtime).
Profile
The successful Warehouse Supervisor candidate will have:
- Previous experience managing teams in a busy distribution environment.
- Knowledge of goods-in, pick/pack and outbound.
- A lead by example and team player attitude towards work.
- Knowledge of HR functions such as staff reviews, investigations and disciplinaries.
- Good WMS/Microsoft Office knowledge.
- The ability to track and work towards KPIs.
- Excellent communication skills, internally and externally.
- A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
Preferred:
- FLT Counterbalance experience.
- Knowledge of transport functions.
